Beerfest 2005!!!!

Melbourne Brewers Beerfest will be held on February 12th and 13th at the Grand Ridge Brewery Hotel, Mirboo North.

Entries must be submitted to collection points by Tuesday 1st February. All beers will be judged in accordance with VICBREW Style Guidelines. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No maximum number of entries per category but each entry must be a different sub-style. $5 entry fee per entry.
Maximum of one entry per substyle.

The Melbourne Brewers are Victoria's oldest craft brewing club having been founded in the 1970's under the "Ameteur Brewers Association of Victoria".

The club is based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs with club meetings being held at various locations on the last Wednesday of every month from 7.30pm until late.

Fun and learning are the main focus of the club with social events such as trivia nights, club competitions, beer-style discussions, BBQ's held throughout the year.

The club is also responsible for running the annual "Beerfest" craft-brewing competition (now Australia's oldest open competition), featuring 6 beer styles, which is held at the Grand Ridge Brewery in Mirboo Northon the first weekend of February.

New members are always welcome.
