An Erlenmeyer flask or conical flask is a type of laboratory flask which features a flat bottom, a conical body, and a cylindrical neck. These flasks are borosilicate (sometimes called pyrex) and are flame proof. Ideal for making yeast starters because you can boil your starter in them on the stove, allow to cool and then inoculate with your preferred yeast culture.
