All the John Guest fittings we stock are made from food grade Acetal plastic and will accept only 8mm OD tubing.
Pushing the tube all the way into the fitting is all that is needed to produce an instant but permanent leakproof connection. The fittings are just as easy to disconnect by squeezing the dark grey ring in towards the fitting body and the tube can easily be pulled out. These fittings can be used over and over without the need for replacement parts.
This fitting is used on the Oxygen Regulator / Flow meter Kit. It is a 3/8″ female thread on one end and a standard 8mm push in tube fitting on the other.
