Our wort kits are made in house on a Speidel 500L Braumeister Brewery, they are all grain and brewed true to style. They are especially suited to time poor brewers or those who simply want an excellent beer with a minimum of effort.
NOTE: These kits are generally designed to add 3 litres of water to the fermentation to achieve the ideal balance, you may if you wish, not add the extra water for a richer, higher gravity version.
This recipe is based on Steve's Milkshake recipe. This is a sweet beer that is designed to have fruit added at high krausen and the dry hop addition later in the fermentation. We have kilo packs of frozen mango pulp that would work nicely as the fruit addition.
Approximate cube volume: 16.5L Plus 3L of extra water added.Starting gravity after dilution: 1.065. Bitterness: 43 IBU's.Grist make up: Mostly Joe White Pilsner, some unmalted wheat and oats.Late hops: Citra Dry hops: Citra and El DoradoRecommended yeasts: Wyeast 1318 or equivalent strain.
